Carrie Robin Brunder
After completing graduate school at Western Kentucky University, Carrie Robin Brunder started her career as the Director of Government Affairs and Policy at Albuquerque Public Schools - New Mexico's largest school district and the 33rd largest school district in the country. She's a New Mexican native. Carrie has extensive experience in policy development and implementation through her work with the public schools and its community partners. A critical component to the success of this policy work was her role as the lead lobbyist for the organization for almost nine years. Her work has gone beyond the traditional work of the public schools.
Tennille Taylor
Tennille has been working with Scott for nearly ten years. She is the primary legislation contact with all NMGA’s clients during the Session and the writer of the many “Good Morning” emails that are sent out during the bill introduction period of every Legislature. She also works on our weekly updates and generally keeps Scott organized.
During the non-Legislative times, she is the owner/instructor of Tennille’s Violin House in Farmington, NM.

Cathy Fernandez
Cathy Fernandez is a former Deputy Director of Legislative Finance Committee (LFC) in New Mexico. She was with Legislative Finance Committee for 16 years - first as a principal analyst for Public Schools then Post Secondary Education. Cathy was responsible for leading and supervising 15 budget analysts at LFC that develop budget recommendations and perform complex public policy analysis for state agencies, testified before legislative committees on state budget, advised legislative leadership and developed professional training for staff. Cathy also worked in executive branch agencies for a total of over 26 years’ experience in finance and budgeting.
Cathy has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from New Mexico State University. Cathy also attended and completed a 4 week program for state and local government officials at Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government.
